When was Lee's peak in terms of pace? From what I remember in the 2005 and 06/07 Ashes, he was definitely more of a high 80s guy than low 90s.

Definitely not Shoaib, he was a 4-5 over burst man with new ball or a vulnerable batsman. Also too fat. Lee, dunno but I doubt it. This is unreal fast bowling.
There was a period of time when Akhtar was bowling mid 150s consistently.. he broke 100mph twice during that period. After that he used be 150+ generally with 155 on a good day.

tbf he's been surprisingly impartial in this series. could have been an absolute **** in brisbane but didn't. softening in old age?

Seriously, cricket is such a weird sport when Starc can bowl that spell earlier and get nothing, then bowl a horrible full toss first ball around the wicket and pick one up.
