Absolutely fantastic to see a big quick bowler steaming in. He's cranking up the pace like I have not seen for quite some time.

Seriously pissed off with the ball change. This is not fair at all.

These Australian balls have been a farce. 9 ball changes in match. Unheard of.
It's a cricket ball, it's fair. It's also bloody enthralling. You're not enjoying this?

Agreed on the ball changes though. Amazing how many balls can go out of shape through normal use, not cannoning into a concrete fence or going into a neighbouring storm drain.

If you didn't here me complain about the ball earlier then here it is again. This is simply not good enough with these crappy balls. You have to get a better stock.

17km/h difference between the yorker and the bouncer
The camera is mounted at nigh-on crease line, is it not? It's not a quick deck, so absolutely stands to reason. New ball, lacquer, whizzing through, 160km.

Bloody enjoyable cricket, this.

There are two other spells that come to mind:

1) Lee at the waca in 2001/02. Bowled a ball to Parore that hit his bat about halfway through his backswing.

2) Akhtar in 2003/04 when he skittled us for 90 on the roadiest road you'll ever see.

When are we going to have a serious discussion about reducing the 80 overs between new balls.

This is great cricket right now

And for Kookaburra to sort out their **** so this is the sort of ball we get ALL the time. It's just good for cricket.
