like i just assumed fleming and astle were as good as waugh and ponting based on nothing other than fact they were their country's best. funny thought process. was shocked to find how few test tons fleming actually got
Yeah fleming was dismissed in the 80-99 range about 15 times if memory serves. Became a mental thing by the end of his career.

I feel for Burns. He's a good fielder, but he's nothing at short leg. May as well have a chair with a helmet on it sitting under Taylor's nose instead.

It's really strange as he has played 4 tests and been largely crap in that position for all of them
