Saha really needs to up his game. Missed one stumping (coming off the chest on to the stumps doesn't count ffs), missed a catch which first slip then held on to, and clearly not a good batsman at the international level (esp important with our 5 bowler strategy).

Ojha or Karthik should be given a go soon if this continues. Ojha is already 32, give him a break.

He did have a decent stumping off Steyn tho, and Ojha isn't going to be much better tbf. He needs some runs though.

watched the last session on delay. Just such solid batting from India. Clinical stuff. Didn't do anything audacious or amazing, just batted well.

very encouraging stuff.

Have to say Rabada has been magnificent this innings. Alarming how quickly he has worked out how to bowl on Indian pitches. Kid will be a monster in a few years.
Yeah he's awesome.

Saffers missed Steyn big time, to state the obvious.

Dhawan should get the boot and Rahul comes in for the next one hopefully. Rahul made a 72 or some thing in the tour game. Dhawan has batted so poorly over the last month or so.

Love KL, but this is really not how a test side should be run.

Whatever it takes!!!
But it is just so obvious that Dhawan is out of it since that hand injury. Its cruel to keep him in the side and let him fail again and again. He will do a lot better with some matches in FC under his belt.

Dhawan's batting pretty badly right now but he's technically got two hundreds in 2 tests before this match. Not quite droppable test form.

I think a lot depends on whether India win. If we lose, they might be forced to make some change and Dhawan will go.

How should a test side be run? We should play people who are likely to make runs. That's the most important thing.

The idea of dropping Dhawan is dire. You shouldn't drop established talent based on one or two test matches. Particularly Dhawan in India.
