Looks like De Gea is leaving too. Possibly with Navas coming the other way, although all reports up to now suggested he'd sooner set himself on fire than move to Manchester.

Eye-watering price. I haven't seen him play but £36m for a 19 year old basically means they're expecting him to be one of the best players in the league in a few years.

Has someone told van Gaal this isn't a troll throwaway game of FM where you give yourself a £500m transfer budget and sign whoever you want.

So apparently the "no room for Welbeck" because we want young Wilsons development to not get affected was just BS.

He must not rate British players at all.

Who knows? He might be the next Ronaldo.

Cavani at 60 million would be a panic buy, this one they may have had lined up, I am probably giving them way too much credit here but you never know.

So De Gea done deal then with Navas the other way.

Think United will regret losing the guy who may become the best keeper in the world in a few years.

We're losing him next season anyway. It's probably the best deal we could hope for, far more than RM were trying to pay before, and Navas is an excellent keeper, although he'll take time to settle.

Flibberty, you got any latest on Woods? Seems to have gone quiet.
Seems as though you bid £400k and we told you we wanted double that and add ons so you said we can get better value abroad so we told you to go and do that then.

After selling Goldson and 2 kids as well we not desperate for the cash so will hold out for decent money.

Not much they could have done though really, Navas is a very good keeper as well.
Yeah but they ballsed it up not getting him tied down last season, not like we couldn't see he was great then. Think it is one mistake that club will regret for a long time.

Nah, we were never going to be able to keep him and everyone knew it - hence Real's derisory early offers. To get the amount we have eventually managed to for him, plus Navas, is the best we could possibly have hoped for.
