All the top and middle order have made runs this tour but chepu has scored it under difficult circumstances here. Really happy for him. Lord Rohit should ideally be the one dropped from the test team now.

From Cricinfo:

Pujara's strike rate versus SL's seamers in the afternoon session (20 off 22 balls). In the morning, his SR was 16.6 (10 off 60)

Just to throw in an arguement:

If 100 runs are scored for the 8th wicket, the pitch is good, if not very good, for batting. Hence India are still in a big whole.

Not a terrible pitch for batting but there is uneven bounce and movement off the seam for the faster bowlers. Don't think it is an easy pitch though.

The reasons for the partnership are some excellent batting from Che and Mishra, a tiring Prasad and some not so excellent bowling from the other bowlers although they were good in patches.

It does look like the pitch has eased for batting since yesterday and this morning, when there was plenty on offer for the seamers. However, it could also be that Prasad has exhausted himself. Pradeep hasn't been good enough and the spinners haven't got enough from the pitch apart from the odd one which has randomly ripped and bounced.

I'm going to be optimistic and say ishant will be a handful.

Best subcontinental quick is Wahab, Rahat or Yadav guyz.

Prasad has done well though especially when you consider he's had some shocking games during the good period too.

I can understand why India want five bowlers and I support it but Binny is not the guy to bat at #6. Next medium pace adequate batsman attempt please. They miss Ganguly so much.

Che WAG! Would be glorious if he carries his bat. Grassy pitch, Dhammika bowling one of his best spells, rest of the top 6 batting rubbish.. Awesome knock.

Binny's Test career has been an interesting tight ODI match so far.

Binny bowling has 1/184 (50) with the pick of the bowler being Binny 1/44
Binny batting is currently 8/145 (45.1) with Binny 78 leading the way.
