Wel, it's on again this weekend and every year it seems to be getting less important. Does anyone have an alternative view?

And what about Mark Webber? Does he EVER finish anything he starts? Fair dinkum, he'd fail to finish a drug test, that bloke!!!

Webber will never win a GP, Mark my words. He's a very good driver, but not as good as the likes of Kimi & Alonso which is why he'll never get a drive in the top teams, nor win a GP. Red Bull are another mid pack team, as Williams was when Webber Joined, and as Jaguar was before then.

Some definite suprises on the grid. No-one would've expected Sato & Davidson to qualify any higher than 17th/18th so for them to reach 10th & 11th is a fantastic effort. Same goes for Webber, the car has been a dog all pre-season for him, and i wouldn't have expected to see him start any higher than 12th, so 7th is a great acheivement.

The other big suprise is Massa, apprently he was struck with Gearbox troubles, so it'll be fascinating to see if he can storm through the field and challenge for a podium finish. His car has been on of the quickest all weekend so it's a definite possiblity.

Nah, he'll win at least one, with a budget as big as that, Red Bull have to come good sooner or later. Renault were just a mid pack team until 4-5 years ago.

Fantastic stuff from the Ferrari's, Kimi was so far in front of anyone else today and Massa went through the field well. Alonso was solid and Hamilton drove well for a podium on debut.

Based on this, Damon Hill was spot on at Hamilton having more of a chance than Button at being the next Brit world champion. BMWs did well, looks like they could very well finish as the 3rd best team but reliability is a fair issue for them.

Top stuff from Raikkonen, really put them all to the sword. Alonso & Hamilton were good, but the Ferrari was in another league. Hamilton will win Championships, mark my words.

Hamilton a good performance, Raikkonen showed what class he has and Alonso was a bit down imo...

Renault were their own team about 20 years ago too, gave Alain Prost a few wins iirc.
I know far too much F1 history.

Seems like there has been a slip up between the members Mercedes team as neither Hamilton nor Rosberg made it tot he top 3 spots. Will this be a jump start win for Vettel?

It's funny how things change in F1. Factually this post is spot on, particularly about Red Bull, but things have turned out a little bit differently.
