Lathams game isn't suited for LOI's and with team balance I don't know where you'd have him.

As for Neesham, he's done poorly in LOI's.

16 ODIs and an average of 14.6.

I'd definitely have him ahead of Anderson in the Test XI though.
He's had 13 innings and most have been batting at 8. He had a couple last year opening against Steyn & co in October at Mt Manganui. I don't think those stats really reflect his potential in ODI's.

My god KW and Taylor score a lot runs together but just how bad is their running between the wickets... nearly another run out...

Random Zim commentator: This Kane Williamson is quite a good player.
Bahnz: lol, wtf

RZC: But ah, here's a real quality player, it's their captain Ross Taylor.
Bahnz: WTF

RZC: NZ recovering well after the early loss of Gupta.
Bahnz: What. The. ****.

Hopefully KW doesn't throw this ton away, he should have a few more tons than he currently has. Recall him getting out in the 90s a number of times.

"Well done young man on your 50"

I doubt Kane's pulse rate even went up when he got to the milestone.

As opposed to the time that we needed to declare and Bruce Martin was still defending it because he wanted to get a test match 50.

Taylor's so damn bad at gapping the ball these days, it's infuriating to watch, and you can tell it''s starting to really grate on his nerves as well (he dropped a pretty blatant F-bomb when he slapped a longhop straight to point a few overs back).

This Zimbos attack is useful enough, if we had Brownlie/Devcich etc playing instead of Ross and Kane I could see us losing some of these games.

I don't rate his hitting ability and with every other position sewn up, I don't know where you'd have him.

McCullum
Guptill
KW
Taylor
Eillot (maybe replaces him once he retires)
Anderson (better hitter)
Ronchi
That's interesting, I've always thought he had considerable hitting power & timing. I'm not sure whether he can execute it as consistently as Anderson or Munro. He did pretty well in the Champions Trophy a couple of years ago.

I would agree though, that if Anderson is fully fit he would be behind him and possibly Munro.

Didn't know their record was this good, nor Astle/Twose for that matter

Ah, spoke to soon.
