Mourinho's a ****ing bell end.

The sooner the media in this country stop polishing his knob the better.

I did a thread about Jose once, like most of my threads it was ****, but suffice it to say, my opinion hasn't improved on him from that pretty low bar then.

TBH I found it funny, but then I'm never going to be sympathetic to Benitez am I? Besides who hasn't launched a fat b*d jibe at someone they don't like before.

I like Jose, he's fun. His comments are so glorious in their knowing hypocrisy, yet the press and public react exactly as he wants them to.

Only a friendly, but watching Jones and Blind at the back for Man United against PSG was bleak, neither of them close to good enough to play in that position whatsoever. Its crazy that LVG seems to be content with his options, yep he has loads but none of them bar possibly Smalling are anywhere near world class.

Herrara not playing isn't impressive either.

Yeah, I'd probably agree with that. He's definitely not completely ****e, but he's not even close to world class.

Smalling seems to be our version of Lucas from what I hear from United fans. Rated a lot by his own; underrated by others; few would call him crap in any case.

Smalling had an excellent second half to last season. Before then I was never a fan, but a lot of that was down to Moyes (and even sometimes Fergie) playing him at RB, where he was embarrassing. He's definitely worth sticking with for now. Jones is a similar story, but his fitness issues are worse.

LVG says he's starting Blind at CB against Spurs, which worries me, although I wouldn't mind seeing that against weaker sides.

Spurs are a weak side though

Heh. The size/speed/strength difference between Blind and Kane is what really concerns me there.

Arsefans- what do you think the chances are that Walcott will start the season as first-choice? I'm putting my fantasy team together and he's counted as a (relatively cheap) midfielder, so if he's getting a regular gig up top or even as wide forward he'll be an incredible pick.

Should imagine it's fairly likely. He ended last season playing there, and was prolific, and all the talk seems to be suggesting he'll at least get a decent go. If he's cheap he'd be a good pick for you even if he doesn't play up front imo, he gets a decent amount of goals as it is.

Hmm, what about Bellerin? Would you expect him to hold on to the RB slot if Debuchy and Chambers are fit?

I'd expect him to feature fairly regularly, but probably not quite as much as he did last season. Not to start off with anyway. One suspects Chambers will play more as a centre back this year, but Debuchy will probably be first choice at the start of the season, I imagine.

See what they do in the Shield. But bare in mind whatever side they play will have to accommodate Alexis in a few weeks.

Anyway Hull can **** off. Would not object to Gray going if we got 6 million but no way are they getting Moses for 3.5.
