He isn't you pretty player, very gritty type of batting and can be relied on when batting conditions are tough. I for one love his style of batting.
I've always thought he looks awkward coz he appears to play late on the shot and significantly rolls fwd with his centre of gravity.

yeah he plays very late. I remember when he scored his maiden ton in Durham in 2013, he was playing pretty every ball so late. Was an awesome knock in the midst of a Broad god-spell.

Isn't Rogers' highest score (119) too low?
I think it was Boycott who talked about this and said he thinks Rogers doesn't convert enough 50s into 100s and 100s into big scores because he concentrates so hard to get in, then sort of over-relaxes once he gets past 50.
