Billy Mohsni's properly mental, isn't he?

Didn't even know he was playing for Furry's chaps until I saw him twatting some Motherwell punter.

Last heard of him refusing to play for Southend.

The Motherwell player deserved it. You can't assault someone when their back is turned and not expect a smack.

He is very obviously an intelligent guy, just have to look at his career in business and then football to know that. Totally committed to attacking, possession based football, maybe to the extent that it can become a hindrance, although personally I am not really sure about that.

The big doubt though is that he has only managed at one club, he has done one hell of a job but the conditions were perfect for him here. You can never be sure how that is going to translate, Rangers and Brentford are so very different. How likely is this to happen anyway? The story has been around for a while, there is obviously the David Weir connection, would certainly be an interesting career move.

Sold.

The only one club thing doesn't concern me. We're in a position where we've got the choice of attracting young (in Warbuton's case his career is young), relatively unproven managers looking to make a name for themselves, or experienced, unspectacular managers.

I know I'm biased to Taylor, and you can't run a football club on sentiment, but Jesus...

Outrageous really.

Oh Pothas, now we've secured Milner too. Just need Delph, Redmond, and Trippier and we'll be hanging with the Whites is no time.

Worse players than Milner Redmond and Trippier out there IMO. A lot worse.

Reckon Milner could be bargain of the summer.

We're now perfectly juxtaposed so that if you get successive promotions and we get successive relegations we get to meet in league one

Once a tradition is broken, then it's broken. Like the 3pm cup final.

Plus the important fixtures don't come out until 1st July :(

Okay, so ends a pretty good season. What do we need in order to challenge next season? Or should we bump the Arsenal thread and talk there?
I don't think the squad can get much better. New goalkeeper definitely, and any world-class attacking players that happen to come available.

Once you get to this stage it's Wenger's sub-standard big-game management that holds you back.

I actually really like Redmond, best player I saw in the Championship this season, be so much better for him to stay where he is though. Liverpool are weird with buying loads of players from other Prermier League clubs, just always going to be spending too much on them

Tbf, we've at least somewhat rectified it over this season. 4 points v City, four v Liverpool, beating United in the cup. But yeah, improving that further and keeping players fit would be huge.
