we had the 15th best cricket country here and all the minnows put the ****s up some top teams apart from the UAE, who are probably 16th.

Rugby is bigger in Italy than you'd care to believe, they have a full proper professional competition & they regularly beats sides like Ireland & Wales.

I don't even know who the hell the 15th ranked cricket side is because the ICC ODI rankings only go to Afghanistan at no. 12 But I'm guessing it's a team like Scotland.

Rugby rankings go past 100 ( Not saying those teams would be much shake), but 100 compared with 12 is a lot.

This is a weird argument, the ICC does have rankings that go much further but they have 12 ODI nations at any given time. There are 105 affiliate countries.

No its not, there is a difference between national sport and popular sport. Just like England's national sport is cricket but not nearly as popular as soccer.

The international one day cricket rankings actually go to 35.. it's just that the "ICC ODI Championship" only goes to 12. Hong Kong are ranked 15th.
