The logic is that that type of batting is annoying and maybe a **** umpire might be swayed by that, as they sometimes are with batsmen padding up etc
well okay i am assuming a base standard of competence here. i happen to think that firing batsmen who pad up is actually very good umpiring, so

Goodbye Misbah. A legend of Pakistan cricket, one of the best captains and I am glad he did not end his career with Pakistan crashing in the first round.

Like I said earlier today, can we please stop the lazy commentary of Pakistan being enigmatic and unpredictable

Out here, in these conditions, they've been woeful for years

People need to review their lazy, outdated, cliched commentary

I personally am waiting for Dundalis to weigh in before I formulate a view.

I think this proves you're an old geezer. No way you'd be so bitter about a bunch of batsmen sliding so easily back and forth across their crease otherwise.

Farewell misbah. Will be really curious to see how pakistan fares without you.

Also glenn maxwell might be my favourite batsman to watch in the entire world right now.

Couldn't bat and couldn't catch. If you can't do 2 out of 3 then you don't deserve to win. Feel for Wahab, the only player that turned up today. Bowled his heart out.

Well played Aus, hope you go on to win the WC. You'll beat the Indians and don't let either the chokers or little brother take the cup.

Great service to Pak cricket by Misbah and will miss him. But good riddance to Afretard, the selfish prick. And I hope that it's also the end for Younis in ODIs.

Have a horrible feeling Younis could be made ODI captain after this, for his "experience" or some drivel. In a perfect world, it should go to Fawad who has captained domestically and really should not have been dropped, but its probably Malik or Younis.:@

To be fair I don't think he's the best batsman.

I just think that he's the most entertaining one. Mostly for comedy.
Comedy is good when the gormless doofus keeps on getting himself into sticky situations. When he actually becomes President of the World and is causing global death and despair with his harebrained policies it stops being funny.

Cricket is not life or death, so no reason for you to feel bad about liking Maxwell. I think he is good fun as well, might feel differently if I was Australian, but meh.
