Yeah if it wasn't for Wahab this was a quality knock from Watson.
And a lot of batsmen would've perished very early if they were peppered like that.

(although given this is Pakistan, they also probably would've been dropped)

Because you're intentionally putting your body between the ball and the stumps.
he's not doing it with the intention of his legs blocking the stumps in case he misses the ball though, he's doing it because he wants people to bowl to his strengths.

i applaud the consistency tbh



but again, why is it comparable to a situation which runs on entirely different logic
because it's not completely different logic? In both cases the batsman is trying to use their body to defend the stumps. Umpires hate that **** because it makes their job hard.
