I like Porterfield, and I quite like watching him bat, but he's the kind of guy that you never feel will take the game away from you. Really struggles to find the gaps sometimes, even when he's set. Really not a batsman that a team should ever genuinely be scared of IMO -- he's the one that you bat around so the other blokes can do something that wins the match.

I'm still not impressed by Balbirnie.

Yeah, he's gone for <5rpo this tournament. Even if he isn't taking wickets, the quicks usually are and getting 10 cheap-ish overs out of Afridi is very helpful for Pakistan.
