Question: if England win here and also beat yer Afghan Whigs but we get rain in Hamilton and NZ/Banglas is an NR it will leave both England and Bangladesh with 6 points.

If Bangladesh's net RR is better (and it is much ahead currently) would they go through?

Gonna be tough to defend this but Bangladesh should be proud of how they've played after being 2 down for not much and then 4 for about a 100.

Yes. If points are shared, the next factor is the NRR regardless of who beat who previously..

imagine if england won this game then lost to afghanistan. aside from how great it would be to see hamid rip through them just when they thought they were safe, would it send them home?

Agree. Confident England will get home today.

Wonder how comfortable Indian fans will feel with the prospect of playing them in the quarters....we know which side will be under more pressure if it comes to that ;)
