I do think SA were too cautious early on.. It all looks good now, but it could've been better.

Also for WI, it's almost like Gayle making that double strike was better for SA in hindsight.

SA learnt this from india tbh. Our strategy of being cautious for the first half of the innings paid off with huge first innings scores because strokeplayers like Rahane and Raina had the freedom to go out there and cream everything.
