2a and 2b is old school. It's all 3rd 4th and 5th grade now. All the 2a teams came together and amalgamated into those divisions 3 years ago. Unless there is still a 2a and 2b beneath the 5th grade?

Vic uni stallions are in our grade and are winning it ( 3rd grade )

Yeah what a crock of ****, I've been all over Welly today and didn't see a spot of rain.. Pretty sure it only rained on Friday night? Even my flatmates 2B side had a full game no worries yesterday.
There was the odd shower in the western suburbs on Sunday. But not too bad. Lower level cricket continued unaffected on the artificials at Galloway.

BTW, did you guys read about Wairarapa being wooed by Wellington to leave CD?

Wellington want to use Masterton as their Basin Reserve alternative. Not Karori.

Sounds like Wairarapa CEO playing both sides, too complicated to paraphrase ..... very Byzantine. Will look for the article to link

Well done Brownlie.

Duffy is quickly becoming a quiet achiever IMO. Maintaining an excellent economy rate and taking enough wickets too. I think he'll be dominating by next season.

So, since I bitched about Hira opening he has put up some back to back scores.

Btw. Ajaz Patel opening for CD?
Yeah, are domestic sides just fully giving up on ever finding decent openers?

Also, only just noticed but I'm glad to see Jeets back playing for Wellington. Was worried that that knee injury of his would end his season.

Even I have to admit we're outgunned here, especially in the batting. Ben Smith must be injured because he tonned up earlier in the year and we're opening with our spinner...just looking very light in general with How's departure, Smith being AWOL and what not. ND should crush us but Hay, Young, Bruce, Kruger and KNB are all good or have ability so hopefully CD can get out of jail. Another engine room ton from Dougeh would be good.

edit: hang on Robinson is listed at eleven. Injured during fielding?
