Reckon England will change their batting lineup, if just the order, for the next game. Incredible how you can have a really settled side then decide to change one player for the sake of it, **** it up, meaning you have to spend the whole tournament chopping and changing AGAIN.

True, but 12 months ago they may have still figured that Trott & KP would be in the side. And Cook's form in these games hadn't been in long-term decline by then.

England are kind of 18 months late in a way. They peaked for the Champions Trophy, which they should've won.

My prediction of a 200 run margin is looking pretty safe from here.

For all the legitimate criticisms that can be made of the selections, they can't really be expected to make a silk purse out of the sows' ears that our wonderful domestic game routinely produces. They're just hopeless, because quality really isn't a priority for most of the counties.
