To be fair, he's always displayed that 'bit too cool for school' body language whether it's a true reflection of his attitude or not. Just part of the guy's make-up & the main thing that counted against him as skipper, remembering there were many good elements to his captaincy.
It's the mental lapses that concern me more than any 'petty negative vibe'.
You're talking through your arse. Obviously you haven't seen Taylor in the past. He is definitely a lot more energetic than what's he's been of recent times.
As a Ross Taylor fan I can easily differentiate between the "too cool for school" attitude and the way he's behaving right now.

Guptill continuing to fail and Taylor continuing to run people out would almost be worth it for knowing the stress levels of our good buddy would be straining against the mask. How long can he hold it in?
