Jono hoping for the Ultimate Warrior and George Washington to appear and talk about how much the macho man meant to them

Genuinely forgot that Savage died ftr. Weird because I still to this day remember that Elizabeth died.

Is my man Luger still alive?

"suffering succotash, son"

****ing hell.

I have no idea why they're giving him jokes. He should be the sort of guy who delivers a few one-liners and starts kicking ass at a moment's notice. Stop trying to make him the Rock ffs, just let him be the brooding badass. They do this with Cena too, sometimes and the comedy just doesn't ****ing work.

Monday Night War series looks tasty. The DVD was a bit disappointing but spreading it out like this should be better. Watching the first aws

Ive watched a few episodes... Just seems like there's lots of rehashing of the same stuff across episodes. Mostly felt like a string of mini documentaries on the WWE wrestlers with a mention here and there about the Monday night war, instead of it actually feeling like s series on the war itself.

First episode is nearly all stuff from the original documentary

Still a good watch mind. Will see how it goes whilst deciding which PPVs I want to watch.

Just watching RAW from last week. Love how Cena's threat to the authority is "I will win the WWE title at Royal Rumble and then refuse to appear on RAW until you reinstate the people you fired."

Because yeah...having a WWE champ who is barely ever on the show has really hurt the authority so much over the last 6 months or so...

Haha yeah. The old timely rules from the 1980's always seem funny these days. Like, could you imagine Gorilla Monsoon's reaction to Lesnar's title reign despite the "30 day title defence rule". Or "it's an automatic disqualification if you purposely throw someone of the top rope" and now we have the Royal Rumble.

Consistency and logic seem to be failing with a lot of the storylines the E has churned out over the last few years actually. I know wrestling has always been a bit like this, and you need to suspend belief a bit, but sometimes it's just like your intelligence as a fan is being insulted.

That angle they did a while back about the Big Show being made to work for the Authority and then threatening to sue them struck me as a bit dumb at the time, but I came across this article earlier on that really shows just how utterly terrible the whole thing was: Induction: Big Show vs. The Authority ? Never mind the KO Punch, you?ll get brain damage just watching it!
