Milne, Boult and Henry... Is this New Zealand's fastest ever bowling attack?
Good question, it probably is. The closest I can think of is;

1) Around 2007 when we had Bond, Gillespie & Martin (when Tuffey, Mills were injured) when both Gillespie & Martin were regularly getting it through to & above 140 &;

2) Around 2001/02 with Bond, Cairns, Nash & Adams in the VB series in Aus when all four could hit 140. Although to be fair Adams... only just.

Yeah. His Plunket shield 97 he scored about 2 years ago for CD was full of excellent proper cricket shots off both feet.

About the same time Southee and Kuggeleijn got their debut FC 100s. Milne looked a class above them.
Yeah I remember that. Just about plays the most beautiful cricket in the world, Adam Milne.

Boult will be a patumahoe clay option for Hesson, you'll find. Eden Park is where he'll make a few CWers taste it.

This is my fear with Boult in ODIs. It doesn't matter so much is tests if you're wayward between wickets. That 1st over contained 4 gifts out of 6.

Yeah because McClenaghan always hits the spot. He's never an erratic and theatrical try-hard with the new ball.

Matt Henry looking like the better ODI bowler from just these overs.. did he not deserve a place in the squad? A case of too many options?

It's to do with combinations. Henry is a Southee-Milne-alike in the selectors' eyes.

Case of poor selection. At a guess Id say 90% of kiwi fans would have selected Henry over Boult.
