Ffs Rahul you make me want to have Rohit back in the side.

Might as well go for the win tbh. Gonna get bowled out anyways.

Not really, Rahul's shot looked like one where it felt they were going for the target (even if they weren't). I think if they just bat they should be able to draw it.

I thought India came here to win a series and not to prevent a 4-0 whitewash? One can say truckloads about how Australia was supposedly 'scared' of India (I thing being wise these days is seen as being afraid), but at the end of the day India were unable to clean up the tail take 20 wickets and it has cost them every game of the series.
The series was over as soon as that collapse on day 4 of the Gabba Test in terms of India winning it..
If you have seen Kohli's recent press conference, you will know what Im talking about. It's their unique yet illogical way of seeing things. 'Australia were unwilling to go for a win..'

Delaying the declaration until the required rate is so high, when India basically have to chase the runs*, means that they can't start steadily and then pick up the rate later, there's just not enough time. In Adelaide the start wasn't particularly fast but they set a platform and then accelerated later. Guys having to come in and score quickly from the start should create some early chances, and coupled with the tail being laughably bad I can see why the Aussies would think they have enough time.

*both based on the series score and the comments about playing positive.

it didn't really sound clicky enough to be a nick for me
I have it on an iPad screen that I'm not really paying attention to, but the noise just didn't sound *quite* right on first hearing so I wasn't too surprised to see the replay showing jumper rather than bat.
