Writing off Binny because he's not as good as your frontline bowlers is stupid.
Hes not good enough in either department. He's as bits and pieces as it can get.Writing off Binny because he's not as good as your frontline bowlers is stupid.
He's not even a good enough batsman though.Writing off Binny because he's not as good as your frontline bowlers is stupid.
Well India has done that and we have seen moments in NZ, SA and even England where we squander momentum because our quick bowlers just aren't fit enough. We will be building pressure for a while until one of our three quicks ends up pulling up hurt and has to go off the field, leaving us to rely on part timers. They have also often lacked intensity when coming back for 4th and 5th spells on flat decks.Nah disagree. Just pick your four best bowlers unless it's a madly spinning deck where you'll have an edge over a lot of countries. Then stick with them and have a captain who actually consults them about their fields and plans. Genuinely don't think you can afford to be a batsman short in non SC conditions.
Australia always plays a batsman light in the SC and goes with an extra bowling "all rounder". It's ****. It doesn't work. Whenever they do it I always know we won't win.
Seems a slight edgethat looked out
Nah. It's just Vintage MSD.Great captain's knock, playing dumb shots and looked like getting out every ball, if I was an Indian supporter I would be furious
Well, it's the sort of innings you'll get from an all rounder. That's what Dhoni is, he's your all rounder. Always bats like a millionaire.Nah. It's just Vintage MSD.
Yea pretty much. I wouldn't advocate a lineup with Binny over a proper 6 batsman lineup or 5 bowler lineup. But if you are looking for a number 6 who can bowl some medium pace then he is as good an option as we have got.Hes not good enough in either department. He's as bits and pieces as it can get.
