I don't know what the logic is with these subcontinent teams giving test debuts to spinners in overseas tours.. makes absolutely no sense whatsoever especially considering neither of them (Karn/Kaushal) are mystery spinners.. just asking for trouble.
Strange concoction of straw, moss & grated bark I think.can someone explain what that is on Doull's head? It can't be his hair
It's just the wrong time to give someone a debut.. even if it weren't for McCullum its just too risky. Why not keep to Dilruwan considering this bloke is not much better or a mystery?Based on his over to Neesham, I think he'll do fine bowling to anyone not called McCullum.
Yeah debuting a promising spinner in NZ is a bit like us debuting a promising quick in SL. There were better options available. It's just the wrong time to give someone a debut.. even if it weren't for McCullum its just too risky. Yeah 1st session required a bit of groundwork and there has been some issues with the small moveable sightscreen.Nust got back from a family lunch, is there any particular reason why the over rate is progressing at the same pace as tectonic drift?
I'd say they're 3-4 overs slow on their end and the rest isn't their fault. Not that surprising for a subcontinent fast bowling attack.Yep, still been tardy by the Lankans though in spite of those things.
Even 3-4 overs really irks me tbh. I guarantee if they awarded the batting side extras for slow over rates we'd see a significant change. This 15% of their match fee (or whatever it is) is meaningless to the paying spectator.I'd say they're 3-4 overs slow on their end and the rest isn't their fault. If Tests continue to be as good as they have been in the last 3-4 years, I don't really mind at all.Even 3-4 overs really irks me tbh.
