MS now whining about 50-50 decisions that didn't go our way. What about the half a dozen plumb lbws that Vijay and Kohli got away with at Adelaide? Just pathetic from Dhoni. An he says drs wouldn't have made a difference anyway. Calm and cool when it comes to anything on field, but when someone points out something negative about anything to do with the BCCI and it's practices, he becomes a touchy and defensive ****.

Nah, don't agree - bloke who's come back from injuries as early in his career, as serious and as often as he's had to do doesn't lack toughness (had back stress fractures 3x in his teens and has had just about every other ****ty injury at least once ever since). Not to mention being an all rounder who bats high and, certainly early on, tried to bowl 140+ ain't easy on the body. Picture below sums up the problem, tbh.

Twatto as the test match game batsman is the greatest thing produced by cw ever. You're the best TC!

lol - having the toughness to fight injury doesn't mean he has the mental toughness to play a long dig. He is a headcase for mine

There's a reason why we've had a handful of good number 3's ever. And it's because it's ****ing hard. Give someone a chance first.

No mate, there's no difference between 3, 4 or 5. Clarke's record in the spots other than 5 is a statistical anomaly.

I think you're right but I believe it's due to his injury history. He's had to re-construct his technique with bat and ball so many times, he's probably completely lost the ability to trust any instincts he must have had. This is why I think it takes him so long to make adjustments when technical issues are identified - he has to go through a huge, slow period of trial, error and analysis to convince himself he's on the right track. Has never struck me as the bloke who'd just get a hint of what to do and then go with it, he's had so many setbacks he probably can't any more.

For me, it depends on what Smith wants now. If he woke up tomorrow and said to Boof he'd love to bat 3, let him have it. As Clarke's on borrowed time, he needs to fit in with the future plans now.

Hey I've been meaning to ask for a while, but why did Saha play in the First Test and not Naman Ojha? Ojha blitzed in on the A tour just 5 months ago. Seems weird.

Congrats to Joe Burns too, his time has come quicker than I expected, but good luck to him.
