And the idea of Sodhi's potential, his action needs major overhaul if he wants to get the spin, dip and consistency he needs. He also won't be able to bowl variation balls without being picked with his current action, he has to physically change his action to produce the googly.

This has actually been a good series for Wagner. If he'd carried his county cricket form on to the pudding bowl of Abu Dhabi then we may have been seeing Henry by January.

Was only 53* when joined by Rahat. What impressed me was that he didn't panic when Rahat skied a couple just out of reach of the fielders, he continued to play Steve Waugh style, minimising risk and batting as long as possible.

Assume this may also be on instructions from Misbah. The longer they bat, the more chance of only 2 options, Pak win or draw.

How can NZ have both Sodhi and Craig in the team at the same time? Both of them are too raw, Sodhi has the potential but Craig looks very ordinary atm. I remember I had raised the point of Nathan McCullum's selection in the test side sometime back and people were not taking it seriously, but tbh he seems way better than both Craig and Sodhi. If you go by FC performances, then NcCullum has done better then both of them, and he also has a fair bit of exposure at the highest level.

Whenever the Pakistani batsmen have attacked Sodhi and Craig, they have leaked runs at a horrible rate. Both of them are too one dimensional, on the other hand NcCullum is a lot more accurate, and can adjust his pace according to the conditions. Obviously his ODI performances cannot be the reason for his selection, but he has shown that he can adapt to the conditions and bowl well in his limitations.

Yeah, well done Pakistan. I thought we could maybe do something here after those early wickets today, but I was wrong. They're just too good in these conditions.
