Sarfraz shouldn't be tempted to go over the top against Craig here. Easy singles and twos everywhere.

Go thru the motions for 4 balls, attempt miracles for 2 balls.
It's the trap that poor bowlers fall into, only attack the tail ender without realising the other guy is likely to take more risks to get the single and therefore get himself in trouble.

This is a frustrating knock for the cricket fans who want to see a tight game but boy this guy is playing some knock.

And this is why I don't rate either of our spinners. Handing the game back to Pakistan in conditions that absolutely suit against tail end players.

Such poor captaincy, why McCullum doesn't rate Boult or Southee to dismiss a no 11 is beyond me. Craig looks so easy.

At least Sodhi actually has some potential albeit inconsistent, Craig is just another Bruce Martin for mine, better batsman than bowler.

Agree. Southee and Boult needed resting, so why not Anderson for 3-4 overs of short stuff alternating with slanting across the batsman.

Silver lining is that Wagner is getting closer to being in the playing XI.
