The people don't matter. This is all about television audiences, and it's cheaper to run matches where lights are already standing than playing them at places where people (who would otherwise be watching on TV anyway) would bother going.

Pretty **** for the players to have no one at the ground. There were more spectators for my Div 9 game of T20 out at Taita today than there were at Seddon Park.
