although Neesham is all over the place, he gets good bounce and seems to have good pace with not too much effort. That is the skill more so than his batting that he needs to develop. He could become a good first or 2nd change seam bowler

I wonder whether Jimmy should reign himself in and look to bowl more in 120-125 range in ODI's and just hit a good length outside off.

Well his Econ rate is 6.5, which simply isn't good enough for a predominantly middle overs bowler, so something has to change.
Yeah but we have Corey Anderson bowling in the 125kph zone. On Aus and NZ wickets Neesham's pace and bounce could be useful if he can hit his lengths.

Yeah, but that's the whole problem. He's got one of the worst pitch maps of any mid-130's bowler that I've seen.

he might always be prone to chigging it but a lot of it is probably a mileage thing, and just getting his action to be second nature despite it's trickiness to maintain.

To be honest, Elliot was a much better LO bowler than Jimmy.
yeah that's true and probably even a better batsman as well in terms of consistency but this is where the risk-reward of developing a player comes into it. And also the fact that there are other people occupying different roles in the team.
