No one should care if he's less effective with the new ball, our main issue is death bowling, Bhuvi is the only one who looks a bit decent in that role. And it's not just this match, he has been doing well from quite a while now.

Why not? He is a new ball bowler and early breakthroughs are always vital. Definitely a concern if he doesn't do well at the start especially seeing he always seems to get tonked at the death. Yes he did well yesterday but IPL is IPL. He did well even during that Gayle 100 from 30 balls match last year but in Indian colours he messed up royally subsequently.

The problem with Bhuvi is, he doesn't have pace at all. He doesn't even touch 130 a lot of the time. He relies mostly on swing (remember his debut vs Pakistan where he had the ball on a string) and if he doesn't get that he is total cannon fodder.
