Group 1 Second Round - Sri Lanka, England, South Africa, New Zealand, Netherlands

KW is a much better troll bowler in tests because he tries to attack. he's not really a jammy darter which is what makes for a good part time spinner in T20.

NZ and Australia both have the same problem. Our bowlers suck on these pitches, so we're always conceding big scores.

Is it just me or is McCullum stupid for not bowling Mills' quota, whether that's 2, 3 or 4 overs, before around the 12th/13th over?

Yeah we've been arguing this for years but he has admittedly been decent in the death lately.

His captaincy has been all over the place this tournament. Kanes over, not bowling neesh earlier, not bowling mills and boult out early.

specialist token australian*

he had a go at the anthem today. pretty token effort but he was mouthing the words. more than some of the netherlands players did.
Do the Netherlands even have any Dutchmen anymore?

Back in the day they were pretty much solidly real cloggers, now they've gone down the Aussie/Kiwi/Yarp avec Dutch antecedents route.

Seems as if Tommy got the cricket genes from the Cooper family pool, anyway.
