Oddly for a draft nobody is now after the same player I want, which is an opener born in the 60s or 80s. So I'll open the floor. Should I pick Mark Taylor, Saeed Anwar, Gary Kirsten, or someone else?

Of modern players, David Warner has a significantly better average than any of them, which hurts my fragile little mind.

After your last pick you're all but guaranteed my vote anyway but looking at the rest of your side I'd say Anwar

International Regular
Amazed but delighted he survived this long, I'll take Clem Hill (1870s). I had at one time intended to select Australian all-rounder Johnny Mullagh for this decade, but couldn't resist Hill. Anyone not familiar with Mullagh can learn more here.

One hell of a draft this... some impressive teams there.
Good to see you again KK! :D Yes, it's been a long but enjoyable haul with, as it turns out, a deal of homework for everyone. So well done everyone!!

Incidently, your attack from Season 1 has Dale Steyn and Neil Adcock in it. Nice fiery South African combo I reckon :)

International Coach
Both players I want are from the same decade, so have to find the better replacement from one of the earlier eras. taking longer that I though. Will pick shortly regardless.

Same as my last pick.

Saint Kopite

First Class Debutant
Taking a gamble.

Ian Bishop 1960's
Don't think Bishop is an gamble. He was a brilliant bowler when fully fit. If he hadn't suffered from those injuries, he could have been as good as some of the other West Indian great fast bowlers like Walsh or Sir Wes Hall.

Admittedly more luck than judgement - Lindsay Hassett (born 1913) to bat at No.5.

Not in esctasy over that batting lineup, but it's certainly more than capable of scoring sufficient runs to allow Adcock, Steyn, and Hadlee to blow the opposition away. Also Happy with the Mailey-Healy combo which I reckon is pretty good, especially with Hayden and Chappell around the bat.

01. Matthew Hayden
02. Stewie Dempster
03. Neil Harvey
04. Greg Chappell
05. Lindsay Hassett
06.
07. Ian Healy
08. Richard Hadlee
09. Dale Steyn
10. Arthur Mailey
11. Neil Adcock
