I don't mind Nicholas as a commentator as much as most do, but FMD, his blatant "YESS YES" "NO NOOO" cheerleading really does give me the ****s.

I think he's just got completely the wrong role. He's actually a pretty good technical analyst when he's given the chance to do that, but he comes across completely manufactured and annoying as an excitement or hype-building commentator which is unfortunately what he's typically used as. I don't think there's anything more infuriating than when after the team you're supporting loses a wicket, Mark Nicholas rubs it in by saying "YES YES YESSSS".
