Rooney's doing a great job sitting a little deeper tonight. On Sunday he was playing on top of Van Persie and was hopeless.

Would get Januzaj on for Valencia in a bit. Need to go for the win.

I'm not a fan of playing Rosicky/Wilshere/Ozil/Cazorla all in the same team together tbh. Not enough variety/width/pace/directness in that combination.

Not especially handy when you're playing against a side that'll defend really deep.

Reckon it's even worse against a team that doesn't defend deep. They're all so slow.

I'd have started Ox over Wilshere, with Rosicky central. Wenger doesn't fancy Ox as a wide player but it's what the team needs for now.

Sturridge! Phew.

Gerrard just played one of the best passes I've seen in ages. Incredible.

It's got nothing to do with pace tbh. We look completely different with Ramsey in the side and he's hardly electric. It's just they're all so similar and quite indirect apart from when Wilshere goes on a random burst. Even Rosicky who is constantly moving.

As I said the other day, Podolski's movement isn't poor, it's just predictable and I'd take that right now if the predictable aspect is that he's going to be wide and attack the goal.

Edit : Nothing to do with it isn't quite correct but it's not the only issue.

Bad result for both teams I reckon. United played OK I guess. The only difference between that and the Arsenal games under Fergie is that they didn't take their chances.

Haha yeah, I was wondering that. Apparently making two saves is good enough to make Chesney the best player on the pitch, ITSTL.
I reckon it's fair. His second save was pretty incredible. If someone had popped up with a great goal that decided the game you'd have no problem with him giving it just for that.

Who else was there anyway? **** game.
