One thing I really like about Doolan, even his defensive shots find the gaps so he's always in with a chance of getting off strike. Better than a guy who only hurts you when you put it in zones. He's like Watson gone right.

Actually can't think of a fringe Australian batsmen of recent times who it was a good idea to bowl short to, other than perhaps Rogers who I doubt you'd confuse with Marsh. Marsh, Khawaja and Cowan all love it short.
