Adelaide home record is very poor. Very good all-round performance to Shakib especially since he arrived yesterday but clearly 20-30 runs short from the home team. I don't expect Australians in general to be following teams like Zimbabwe, Bangaldesh...so its understandable if they don't know much about their players. Its a shame though Australia don't play Bangladesh much even in short limited overs series. The experience will be great for us.

That's true, but I can understand (well not really, but I can accept) commentators not having seen much of Shakib. Fine. But don't pretend like he's some unknown from nowhere. He's played the World Cup ffs. Read his profile, know that he's a former test captain of Bangladesh.

The worst bit was when Fleming (or was it Waugh?) started praising how good the "scouters" of the Strikers were.

Just absolutely comical.

Yeah WTF? Was such painful to listen to the commentary. Super ********. And it would have been little more understandable had this been Nasir or Mushfiqur or such guys. But Shakib, WTF? The guy's even topped both test and all rounder ranking for a good time (now at #2) and it's really dire to listen such dumbarse commentary from him.

Anyway good to see mah lad perform well, you show em' Shakib! Hellz yea.

Owais Shah and to a lesser degree Shoaib Malik, are such uninspiring overseas additions. I'm not as convinced as Gilly that the Canes are well in control..

Blizzard's LO and FC career hasn't gone anywhere has it? A few years ago I thought he would be a force in domestic cricket.
