Context means everything here. As a 48 yo rank amateur he showed ticker to front up. As someone who questioned other people's courage against short fast bowling he didn't back up his words by running to leg.

Are you serious? He got hit 4 times, guy probably couldn't even see the ball. Gutless would have been quitting after being struck the first time, but no he faced all 6 deliveries. I supposed he wasn't allowed to duck to bouncers either?
