Australia were paying $1.13, that means they thought Australia were only 88.49% chance of victory.

Hilarious.

Never fear, Siddle is here, what a wicket from the man!

Peter Siddle moves up to equal 71st with Shoaib Akhtar on 178 wickets.

Not really sure what the point of snicko is there. What did it add? Nothing on hotspot, camera angle inconclusive but just went on noise that we knew without it.
I think snicko is there to confirm the noise. The hotspot was useless, the edge was on the opposite side to the camera.

If perchance a team happens to pull off a heist from a position like this, can it honestly be said deserving of the win? I'd be more inclined to call it an anomaly of cosmic proportions.

Those decisions have to be umpires call.

But then Tony Hill shouldn't be near officiating cricket matches for years so I guess his random decision making is seen as good entertainment.

Stokes with a really nice knock. Certainly has talent with the bat and a solid technique. Quality spin will be a huge test for him though which he hasn't faced yet.

Disappointing with Belly there. All for being positive but he has 10 from the over already.

Right.

Can we return to sensible, reasoned cricket discussion now?
Once we got the ashes back you are very welcome. Just that it's been so long, a hard road. If you told me that Australia was going to win the ashes back this time just before the Brisbane test I would have called the insane asylum. I don't know how anyone could have even imagined this result.
