Have a feeling Johnson will not be too flash this time(5 wickets for the game);think Siddle or Harris will come to the party. And England better not be stupid and drop Swann based on the records of Murali, Warne and Kumble at Perth or whatever. Swann will enjoy the bounce at the WACA and when we played SA here last time Robbie P picked up a handful of wickets! from memory Lyon did not go badly either.

Seem to remember Swann going at 5 an over last time around. Monty picked up a five-for in 06 though.

lyon average at perth is tests 56.00 and first class 112.00 so for those that think a bag fulls coming I will be surprised

Lot of talk on radio that Harris might not play, but I got the impression his knee was no worse than usual after Adelaide. Anyone heard different?

Could have been his 2nd debut but your selectors muffed it by not picking him for Roadelaide. Any stats on batting debutants at Perth?

Think he'll be a passenger on it actually. With TPC, Gravy and Clarke all able to provide some serviceable spin and Watson back bowling going with four frontline quicks on that doesn't look like too bad a decision on a deck that green. It'll dry out heaps for sure with the expected temps, but will the game last that long? Give the Rug a run ****s!
