LOL no chance at all. It will be a rape both tests by an innings!
In ODI's however India can do something.
Depends on the pitches. If they are bowler friendly, India is as likely to draw as they are to lose. However, if they are anything except bowler friendly, SA should at least win 1-0.

Hey someone remind me - did India and South Africa play any ODIs during the Indian tour of SA in 2010/11?

Irrespective of stereotypes about the batting technique of Dhawan/Rohit/Vijay, the Indians can survive only if the bowlers (and a lot depends on Ashwin/Bucky/Shami) take 10 wickets an innings consistently. Hopefully Mohit Sharma will enjoy bowling here, as he does in Mohali/Lahli. Jadeja, though, I don't have high hopes, since this won't turn square, and has plenty of bounce. The Indian team should look to restrict the South Africans to less than 250 in every game, to stand a chance of winning the series. And, of course, fielders better fit for point/cover/fine-leg shouldn't be fielding in slips.

Yes, they did. Second leg, started with a T20I.

Interesting, I remember every test of that series but not the ODIs (not really interesting I guess, but I usually remember India's ODIs in SA).

Will go check the results to see how they went.

I think the Indian batting is really good and should be able to put up very competitive totals. The pitches being bowler friendly means that the gap between the bowling of the two sides becomes narrower. Advantage India IMO.

Most of our oversees wins in the period when we climbed to #1 rank did indeed in bowling friendly conditions. But we also had at least one of our old guards in great batting form too. This time too 1-2 of the young batsmen will have to step up for us to have any chance.

Had that hilarious match that India won by 1 run with the last two batsmen getting out to short wide filth from munaf Patel

fmd two in two balls that bounce just in front of the fielder. Both times thought it was out. Crazy.

Lol two specialist bowlers who are going to be useless at the death who also don't bowl with good pace. Abdv is going to murder us in the last 10 overs and get a 100 here. You just know it.
