112 overs today, so we're basically entering the normal 96 overs for the day part now, although there's some rain about that might knock off some overs
Oh okay. I wasn't aware of the extra overs. Still, you'd have to like your chances on a 4th day to get QLD out cheaply.

Silk reaches his ton, 4th century from his first 9 First Class matches, impressive.

Shame Silkers Silk couldn't go on and make it a big on, but so good to see his pair at Blacktown wasn't a sign of second year syndrome. We've been crying out for good young bats to actually get their **** together and make a pile of runs. Fingers crossed him and Head and a few others can do it.

Meanwhile NSW keep trying to get Qld back in the game...

Steady Eddie also jumping up and down waving arms at selectors saying 'don'f forget Ed ****s'

So looks like 313 for Qld to win and probably plenty of overs to do it. SOK and Dougeh, we need you now.

Backing Silk to be the new Jamie Cox; scores heaps in a steady fashion but kept out of the Test side by more belligerent NSW counterparts.

That's partly because few seamers have played all 4 games so far. but yes games going into day 4 has obviously helped them

I have been blown away with all the old guard playing great cricket. Marcus North and Cam White scoring runs at will and there even taking wickets. Dougie B is bowling well and looks like 3 past openers are starting to score runs in Marsh Clean and Hughes I'm lost for words this season so far.

disturbing to note that Doherty managed a five wicket haul in a shield game, even if it was pretty much all tail-enders

Yeah, especially with the left handers and the fact that the match is at the WACA, I can understand this, don't necessarily agree with it though
