*Official* First Test at The Gabba

Realistically what is the highest we can be expected to chase? England team history, both in general and on our past couple of Gabba visits, suggests we bat better second time round, but I'd already be nervous if their current lead was the target.

I mean I know I should just suck it up and accept we're going one down but I need something to cling to.

Thing is I don't think this pitch will slow down as much as the one did last time. I'd probably say 350 at the absolute maximum. We haven't made 400 since we toured New Zealand, so we can't possibly realistically expect that trend to end in circumstances such as these.

Bowl them out for a 100 more, chase it down. Easy.

Or we will be watching Warner and Watson until 6am this morning.

Be interesting to see how many Clarke and the management think is enough, and when they put their foot on the gas today. I'm sure 450 will be more than enough for them to attack for long periods and give them plenty of time to bowl us out.

Honestly, 74 more runs and I think Australia could declare and win.

Our batting is badly broken at the minute.
