In all seriousness, yes, it seems that way at the moment. I don't know much about the Queensland or WA squads but it's going to take a good performance to knock them over. Maybe NSW with a full strength side could challenge them. I may eat my words but I can't see this NSW side challenging the Victorians.
I bet on Victoria to win the Ryobi so I do agree that they are the favourites but the team hasn't been that brilliant in finals recently (5 runner ups in past 7 years) so that's still a major hurdle for them.
But that also shows how consistent they have been for almost a decade. IMO it's a result of several International standard players that have been ignored by selectors for most of their careers. Any side with Hodge, D Hussey and White consistently for years is going to do well. Whereas NSW bring through just as much talent, if not more, but they seem to be on international duty more often.
Absolutely, but with such a small sample size it's difficult to really come to definitive conclusions like "they are bad at playing finals".
