Broad was the initial VC but after he got dropped for the Kolkata test Prior took over. Don't think it's quite as official as it was when Cook did the role though.

Yeah Benchy's reaction will be great if Siddle manages to make a debut hundred batting in the top 6 when he wanted him batting 11 earlier in the series when we had the long tail.

It's odd, at times in this series (here, D1 TB), Smith has actually looked very settled against the moving ball. Just needs to put away that annoying flashy drive.
