The difference between the quality of posting during play and when there's no cricket has been the biggest I've ever seen during this series. The pissing contests these threads descend in to when there's no cricket to talk about is really disappointing.

Mate it's a giant rat, it doesn't get higher quality than that.

Watching the replay. Strauss just described yesterday as a boiling hot day. What was the temperature, out of interest?

How lucky has England been this series?

Won the first Test when it could have gone either way. Saved by rain when it looked like certain defeat, and now more rain to delay a game where they are well behind. If I was a Pom, I'd be having serious doubts about retaining The Ashes after visiting us convicts later in the year.

Quick question, if the Aussies do take back the Ashes later in the year, do our players receive Knighthoods?

Mixed news for Australia, although its still raining it is now sunny so if we do get out should be good batting conditions.

So won a game instead of losing it is apparently now lucky? Well behind it is also strong, Australia are ahead but not big a giant margin.

m00phy's been stiffed in tonight's edition of #starstesttrivia, even if smith makes a ton here it won't have been the best thing to happen tonight
