I've been to Alice Springs, i actually quite liked it. More character than most Aussie cities.
Oh cool. What did you get up to there? En route to the Rock? I actually lived there for about a year, II did like it, wouldn't want to live there long term.

I stayed one night there, got there at 6pm got smashed and left at 5:30am the next morning.

It was either one night in Alice, or a whole ****ing week

It's an interesting place tstl.
One of my highlights was going back to my car after the shops (no beach sadly) and having to wait a minute for one of the local 'ladies' to stop pissing on my front tyre in broad daylight.

Bell's been so awesome this series. So impressed by him. Had a pretty fantastic last 2 Ashes series, after struggling in his first 3. Averaged 66 in Australia, and now averaging 82 with 3 hundreds, and at least a half century in 5 out of 8 innings. Becoming the batsman Australia really need to worry about. 5th leading run scorer in the 2010's, with 3126 runs at 57.88. What a man.

Root got an absolute beauty from Harris, but still not convinced with him at the top. Time to blood a new opener in the final game of the series, drop Bairstow, and move Root down. Bairstow might have played reasonably well yesterday (compared to his performances to this point), but not well enough to save his place. Carberry or Compton in, with Root moving down to 6. Also, I was definitely wrong about Broadeh, really impressed with his effort. Still think Tremlett should be in ahead of Big Bres, but I think that's just my bias towards Tremlett more than anything.
Im fine with shaking things up but if England win this Test Id like to see what we have for the winter tour. Id give Bairstow the gloves in the 5th Test and let him bat 7 as there is a chance he will be backup glove man in Aus

I love when you tell the story of the first time you met your missus.

Warner's cover drive on the up and that straight drive by Rogers were beauties.

If the outfield is wet it will help our blokes plenty. Soften the seam up a bit hopefully.

Yeah combined it with the Uluru visit, just stopped a night but Bojangles and Lasseters casino where fun. I liked Hobart really as well to be fair just was a little wind blown, but some good history on view which I like.

England bowling this length will help too.

EDIT: This is the third time this has happened, wtf
