England played an awful number of woeful shots yesterday, looking at the highlights I was genuinely pleased I wasn't able to watch yesterday. The only consolation was the fact that they could trudge on from 199/9 to 238. I reckon they'll have to score another 30-40 runs to ease the pressure off their bowlers to be able to attack Australia's batsmen. I won't keep my hopes too high though.
That didn't even happen.

Like Philander, Bird's imperfect seam position means he gets the perfect amount of swing and natural variation. Just a little late swing either way. Seriously good.

Lyon bowled well but 4 batsmen getting out to a spinner who turned maybe one ball all day (Broad) is shocking.
