No it isn't. The issue here is bad umpiring. That truely is one of the worst decisions of all-time. There've been some shockers in the history of the game, but given all the technology (other than snicko), and they still can't see something as obvious as Khawaja missing that. Pathetic. This is just fuelling BCCI's decision not to accept UDRS. If done correctly it'd help the game, but been some real weird decisions in this series.
You heard the manKevin Rudd @KRuddMP
I've just sat down to watch the test. That was one of the worst cricket umpiring decisions I have ever seen. KRudd
probably would have still been given.....So hey, how about how snicko was available straight after the decision?
Umpire of the year. The same umpire of the year who seems to make at least one or two shockers per game.Who the **** is the 3rd umpire?
That's an absolute shocker.
Indeed. DRS did its job perfectly. It's just the severly mentally handicapped sorry excuse of a 3rd umpire called Kumar DharmasenaIt's nothing to with DRS, just amazingly bad umpiring.
Cos it took the ****** 5 minutes to make his decisionSo hey, how about how snicko was available straight after the decision?
It depends what you decide the argument is though. That decision just now isn't an advertisement for not having DRS at all because the standing umpire gave it out originally anyway, but it's another one for the "it could be working a lot better and needs some significant changes" camp.Nah it is. Those of us who support it used to accuse detractors of flatearthism. We can't deny reality and say this is working.
