All convictions are now spent, so that there post be trollin'England has a long history of nefarious pitch preparation. Anyone who knows the game's history is aware of past atrocities.
An outrageous slur! All convictions are now spent, so that there post be trollin'
No it's not - you can't go around introducing evidence of events that took place before even dinosaurs like you and I were born - if this is an example of the way you conduct yourself in court I'm not surprised you win so often! An outrageous slur!

Australia has a long history of not being able to accept that they were beaten and whining about 'nefarious pitch preparation'.England has a long history of nefarious pitch preparation. Anyone who knows the game's history is aware of past atrocities.
Yeah I agree.I couldn't care less what kind of pitch you produce for HGA, that's what makes it HGA. But it should be one pitch, not different pitches stuck together - if a pitch advantages or disadvantages a particular kind of bowling ie. spin, then all well and good but not particular bowlers based on which arm they bowl with or some ****. That's just ridiculous.

I started my umpiring this season on 20 April. Even at that time of year, on good school and Club grounds, I was seeing rock hard pitches - normally a rare sight before June. I asked a few Groundsmen who said that, because the winter was cold but reasonably dry and following the decent spring, pitches were very hard on top but a few inches below the surface there was plenty of moisture. If the weather was cool enough to allow this to come slowly to the surface pitches would be very flat. If, as happened, there was hot weather the moisture underneath would dissipate and pitches would tend to break up.
I have seen that in the last 4 weeks at various Clubs. Some pitches are just about holding together but I'm not surprised to see a serious 'bunsen'.
Indeed.It just gets easier
